London Canine Couture, LLC began when our two bulldog mascots, Porkie & Chubbie Chops, ventured across the pond to try out European living. It was while living in the big, bold city of London they found canine couture was hard to come by.
After an unfortunate incident at a pet store in London (and the urging of family members), Danelle Hollenbeck conceded to the idea of starting a canine boutique. With a background in Social Work specialzing in Substance Abuse, working with animals had only been a dream since Danelle was a little girl. Coming from a family of professionals, running a brick and mortar business, as well as an e-commerce website would prove just the perfect start to fulfilling all of Danelle's dreams.
Danelle started doing research and marketing to find what was needed and what was the norm in this vastly growing pet industry. With two chunky 62lbs English Bulldogs, it was difficult to find nice clothing and collars for this size of dog. What she found available were clothing for teacups and dogs weighing 30lbs or less. "I had difficulty finding anything other than the bland & boring black leather studded collar. The clothing pet stores had were just too small. Also, if I did find something that remotely fit, it was also mass produced".
London Canine Couture specializes itself not only on fitting dogs of every size, but on another unique concept: "Since my two bulldogs actually had the opportunity of living on both sides of the pond, I wanted to bring my customers' fashions from the U.S.A. and Europe, " says Danelle. "I made it our niche to bring fashion from both sides of the pond, boasting international flavor". "We pride ourselves on U.S.A made specialty products as well as Europe made specialty products just as we humans do with our own clothing". London Canine Couture also ships directly to Europe and the U.S.A, thus catering to a broad spectrum of canines and humans alike. Thus their trademark saying of "Fashion from each side of the pond" began.
This boutique and e-commerce website is one of the first of its' kind. We pride ourselves on the unique-ness we offer to our customers. We offer exclusivity on clothing, furnishings, collars and spa products. We cater to dogs of all breeds and sizes, especially keeping our eyes out for the larger breeds that want to look just as fashionable as their smaller counterparts.
